Getting to LogroñO

This is the story of our trip to Logroño for NSSpain. Getting there was awesome. We flew to Bilbao then took a bus to Logroño and got to see the Spanish countryside and mountains.

We packed lots of cameras and lots of film, including a Polaroid with film from the Impossible Project. Also brought a tripod that I never got around to actually using. After arriving, we were joined by lots of friends and colleagues and the next morning we headed to the hackathon.

Here’s the location of the conference, from the outside. It was an amazing building and the days following the conference had the San Mateo festival, which was awesome. There were fireworks at this building every night.

Architecture

The city had an interesting mix of architecture. There was the new with the old, the contemporary and the modern.

Here’s a train station in the city – very, very cool architecture.

Environment

The surrounding environment was beautiful. Just stunning.

Here’s the area around the house we rented. We’ve got some shots of the backyard, the front yard, and a nearby fountain.

Some of my favourite moments from the trip were walking around the city and seeing some awesome music and energy from the crowds. Really awesome stuff.
