Artsy returned to the same location as last year’s offsite, and I had a great time. I brought lots of film and made sure to have my camera with me everywhere, I got some great shots.

Orta and his T-Rex (used as a controller for his learn-to-program workshop). The dino has a coat made of aluminium foil because it turns out they wouldn’t conduct electricity without it.
Lots of swimming, some zip lining, and just chilling in between workshops.
Even though we were supposed to unplug and have fun, you can see the finance team on the right wrapping up monthly expense reports. Now that’s dedication.
I know it’s cliched, but I’m so glad I got a chance to leave the city. I love New York, but I grew up in the country and a part of me will always be more comfortable there.
My favourite part of the offsite was getting to talk to people I normally wouldn’t work with in my day-to-day job. A lot of colleagues have told me the same thing.
